FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – 2ND April 2020

NEW EXECUTIVE HIRES

LONDON, UK, April 2020.  Dr Chris Cormack and David K Kelly, Managing Directors and co-founders of Quant Foundry are delighted to announce that they have secured two significant hires to help them steer the company to the next level

Christina Di Nolfo and Johnny Mattimore are joining Quant Foundry as Executive Directors and will join the newly formed Executive Leadership Team (ELT).  The purpose of the ELT is to be the central decision-making forum that deals with strategic and the day-to-day activities of Quant Foundry’s business.

Christina and Johnny bring to Quant Foundry a wealth of business development knowledge and experience and will work with the founders to bring the Climate Change Corporate Credit risk framework to clients across insurance, asset management and banking.

Christina adds: “Climate change and the impact this has on the Insurance industry is one of the most critical topics facing the industry for this and future generations. The industry has the opportunity to embrace innovation, to mitigate physical, transition and liability risk. There is a lack of predictive risk information and available technology. Quant Foundry’s unique and unprecedented approach to climate risk modelling provides valuable support for analysis and improved risk decision making at all levels.”

Johnny adds: “I’ve seen the evolution of enterprise risk appetite and operating models over the last 30 years and I can see how climate risk will become a critical element of the strategy and the operating models of financial institutions and the clients they serve. Quant Foundry’s approach to the framework and methodology for climate risk appetite and risk management brings unique benefits to the marketplace.”
